Scooter Reservation Terms
- Minimum age limit is 21 years.
- The driver must have a European or international driver's license for the corresponding scooter category, valid and issued in the renter's country of residence at least one year before the rental date.
- Minimum rental duration is one day (24 hours). A delay of more than 3 hours is charged an additional rental day.
- All rental prices include simple liability insurance. The renter is liable for any damage or theft (partial or total) caused to the rented scooter up to the amount of its commercial value at the time of the accident/theft. The renter pays the amount corresponding to the damage of the scooter to Ta Playa, regardless of fault and the amount paid is returned to him when and as long as Ta Playa is compensated.
*The deposit is 100% refundable only when the cancellation is made at least 23 days before the reserved rental date.
No Insurance Coverage Applies:
- For anything that happens and it is found that the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- For damage caused by driving on unpaved roads.
- For damage caused to the bottom of the scooter, tires and rims.
- For accidents caused by a driver not stated in the rental contract.
- For accidents for which the lessee has not informed Ta Plagia and filed/submitted a relevant accident declaration, as defined by Greek Legislation, regardless of his fault.
